Job Duties :

1. Deploying performance management solutions encompassing the interface to vendor telecommunications technologies,
2. data transformation, loading and presentation of network performance KPI’s via the Optima End-user performance
3. engineering software application.
4. Installation and configuration of Optima (Performance Management tool) at various locations in MEA.
5. End-user technology report creation
6. Maintain knowledge of vendor solutions and solutions for extraction of PM data for various solutions
7. Installation and configuration of the Optima data Extraction Transformation and Loading solutions according to standard and bespoke customer requirements.
8. Writing solutions specifications, acceptance test specifications for bespoke customer solutions
9. Delivery of solutions within agreed project timescales.
10. Technical product support (1st and 2nd line) to customers.
11. Liaise with the customers on a regular basis.
12. Logging and tracking of Service Requests (SR’s).

Required :

1. Good working knowledge of Oracle SQL.
2. Ability to install and configure Oracle and associated application data models.
3. Ability to debug and troubleshoot PL/SQL
4. Ability to create ad-hoc reports using the Optima Report Writers
5. Good Knowledge of telecommunications technologies 2G, 2.5G ,3G, WIMAX wireline, SDH/PDH, etc.
6. Good communication skills
7. Knowledge of telecommunication performance statistics and their application.
8. Knowledge of vendor KPI’s
9. Working knowledge of UNIX & WIN OS, CITRIX
10. A knowledge of Unix scripting eg. Bourne or Perl Scripting or PL/SQL would be advantageous.
11. Decision making skills to prioritise tickets based on the customer and AI interests.
